Kimberly Kim Foundation, Inc.
Kimberly Kim was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) in October of 2006 after giving birth to her first child. After receiving the devastating diagnosis, Kim and her family immediately began taking the most proactive treatment approaches possible. Through the course of Kim's treatment, the Kim family realized the need for increased awareness of ALS and its devastating financial burden on the families of ALS. The Kimberly Kim Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit was established by the Kim family and is dedicated to raising funds for the awareness, research and clinical treatment of ALS. Please visit www.kimkimfoundation.org for more information. NaturalPoint is proud to be partnering with the Kimberly Kim Foundation as they provide assistive communication technology grants to ALS patients.

Dancing the ABCs Dancing the ABCs to Benefit ALS

As a former software developer, Kim was eager to utilize any assistive technology available. Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Click-N-Type, and SmartNav have allowed Kim to write extensive blog entries detailing both the fun stories of her son Luke's development and the progression of her condition. As a legacy for her son, Kim recently completed a children's book, Dancing the ABCs. Kim's book proceeds will go to her fight against ALS and will help support the Kimberly Kim Foundation. Kim's book is available for purchase through Lion Tail Publishing, LLC. Please visit www.kimkimfight.com for more information and to purchase the book.
